Who can use DASAS?
The Drug & Alcohol Specialist Advisory Service is a free telephone service for doctors, nurses, and other health professionals. Specialist medical consultants are on-call 24 hours to provide advice on diagnosis and management of patients.
DASAS is especially designed to support regional and rural areas in NSW, but is available to any health professional.

What about pharmacotherapy issues if you are a health professional?
DASAS specialists can provide information about the management of pharmacotherapies to health professionals.
What about pharmacotherapy issues if you are NOT a health professional?
MACS (Methadone Advice and Conciliation Service), another line funded by NSW Health, provides information and referrals relating to methadone, buprenorphine and suboxone.
